Frances grew up in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, and spent her career protecting New York City—from the street level to the intelligence arena.
She began on a foot post in Bedford-Stuyvesant, later rode a steady sector in Sheepshead Bay, then joined the NYPD Intelligence Division’s Regional Intelligence Center. After September 11, she joined the Counterterrorism Division, investigating threats against the city she had sworn to protect.
Drawing on her patrol experience and work in intelligence and counterterrorism investigations, Frances writes gripping New York City thrillers where conspiracy meets reality.
Now retired, Frances lives with her family and continues writing stories inspired by the perspective she gained through a life of service.
