Although born and raised in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, the 61st Precinct became Fran's second home after she joined the NYPD. In the late 1980’s she walked a footpost in Bedford Stuyvesant and rode in a steady sector car in Gravesend throughout the ‘90s before transferring to the Regional Intelligence Center at The Intelligence Division. After the September 11th attacks, she joined the newly-formed Counter Terrorism Division. She now enjoys retirement with her family.
Richie Carson and Carmella Russo both call Brooklyn their home, but they might as well be from different worlds. Richie is a crack dealer in Bedford-Stuyvesant and Carmella never stepped foot in the neighborhood until her first night on patrol as a rookie cop. They soon learn one could not survive without the other. Nor could Brooklyn.
